If a player uses a stim pack or an essence pack during combat and the pack has one charge remaining, the item will be lost.

If a player uses a stim pack or an essence pack during combat and the pack has one charge remaining, the item will be lost. The same applies to any situation where you attempt to use it on an invalid target: the ground, a tree, an enemy, an ally with full health, etc.
