If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions on or concerning this list, I am listening. List of stuff people can do for Zunath or at least start for him so he can get on to more important things. Priority: High Moderate Low Back Burner Complete SavannahGreat thanks goes to kallestrae for some nice ideas.. - For greater detail, refer to kallestae's post below
- Dungeons
- Quests
City- Entertainment District: RP-Heavy Area - New Level to the city with Dance Clubs, Restaurants, Clothing Stores, Beauty Parlors, etc. For must-haves, refer to nwn-ess.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=areadesign&action=display&thread=178
- Arena: Important for giving players something to continue to do, especially in single player.
- Tattoo Artists and Cosmetic Surgeons (Body changer with options to purchase either new tattoos or the removal of them, and a body changer with options to purchase a head change)
- Clothing Styles: For sale in the Clothing Store for RP purposes. (Pieman102 may be working on this)
- Decor: (preferably interactive) Objects for RP purposes
New QuestsEvery quest idea should detail the following three things. Ideas for new quests are something anyone can help with! New Dungeons- Area Design, Mob Concept, Strategic Concept
- Should use the same tiers as BLB, ASF, or the Avant
- This should give players greater choice in where they adventure if one dungeon gets old
- Right now, what we need ideally is a dungeon that's between the difficulty of the jungle and BLB, and a dungeon that's geared for characters ready for BLB but is solo-able.
New Abilities- Intended Class/Role (Access)
- Effect (What makes it useful)
- Cost/Requirements (What does the character have to sacrifice to use the ability? The most common costs expend time and essence to activate)
- Ability Type
New Ability VFX and SFXGuidebook for New Players- Completed by: Xanarkan with thanks to Syn and Zunath
SavannahGreat thanks goes to kallestrae for some nice ideas. - 10 outdoor areas. Completed by Syn and Xan.
City- Library: A place to pick up books on lore, the newbie tutorial, and other information.
- Slums District: Rather bare-bones atm. Intended use is for DM events.
- Trash cans have been added throughout the Business and Manufacturing Districts
- Decor: Useable benches have been added to the Business District
- Environmental and other appropriate sound effects have been added to the city as well as the jungle.
Quick Fixes- The map note and the sign/terminal outside of the General Store needed to be renamed to match.

hi there, just had a few ides for your savannah area and thought I'd post them up for you to check out:
The Savannah:
The Savannah as a whole will have whatever new creatures (the two listed in the book found in the library, who's name's I didn't think to write down) along with starwolves, longnecks, and possibly bullette's. I would imagine it would make more sense to make the larger longnecks and the other two new creatures to be more difficult then the creatures found in the jungle (as well as the tribes of outlaws), leading this set of areas to be the next stepping stone of character advancement. It could also have access to the next teir of organic harvestables, since I haven't seen anything other then arrowwood. Perhaps a type of shrubbery that has a naturally high tensile strength.
Savannah - East The Eastern area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, North East, and South East. Notable Locations: Longshot Station. Longsthot Station is maintained for two reasons. The first is to keep the outlaw tribes and other dangerous predators from leaking into the jungle and harrassing the citizenry. The second reason is as a strategic staging point for military and civillian operations in and around the Savannah region. It should be noted that while, on paper at least, these military and civilian operation centers work alongside one another in reality there is a very real tension between the two groups. Longshot Station is extremely well fortified with large terrawatt lasers used as defense. For this reason it is rarely directly attacked by the outlaws tribes, though there have been some rare exceptions to this. ***NOTE*** I wasn't sure as to where you guys wanted to link the Savannah with the Jungle so I just picked the Eastern edge of the Savannah with the intention of linking it to one of the Western edges of the Jungle. If you already have a location in mind let me know and I can edit the location of Longshot Station to reflect this.
Savannah - North East The North Eastern area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, North, and East.
Savannah - South East The South Eastern area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, South, and East.
Savannah - North The Northern area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, North East, and North West. Notable Locations: Crystal Falls Outpost. Crystal Falls is a civillian run observation post for local wildlife. Their security staff consists mostly of ex-military personal, and are usually somewhat hard pressed to keep the researchers safe from the surrounding threats. For this reason they often hire on outside assistance for dealing with threats when their becomes a concern. The largest security threat, of course, comes from the Molkenish.
Savannah - South The Southern area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, South East, and South West. Notable Locations: Ruined Underground Complex. Player Knowledge: This complex's origins are a mystery. The only above ground structure is the remains of what must have been a large tower. Perhaps it was some sort of communications relay station from the distant past, or maybe some sort of observation post. Whatever it may have been is open to speculation because very little of it remains. The lower sections are unstable and prone to collapse, and whatever technology that may have been present has been looted over the course of time. In the absence of any form of maintenence a sort of self-contained ecosystem has also developed within the shifting halls as well, a major hinderance to researchers who are not so well versed in combat tactics. Staff Knowledge: The structure was originally build as a communications array, however sometime after it's completion it was converted into a military research center with a dual purpose for military communications and robotic R&D. I'm thinking 2, perhaps 3 levels below ground. As for encounter strength one or two notches above burrowers for difficulty. This could also have a hidden entrence to another complex, an ancient secret military operation to explain where the strange robotic creations are coming from that have recently been plauging the Savannah.
Savannah - South West The South Western area of the Savannah has transitions to Central, West, and South.
Savannah - West The Western are of the Savannah has transitions to Central, North West, and South West.
Savannah - Central The Central area of the Savannah has transitions to all of the other Savannah Locations.
Tribes: The 3 tribes listed below are constantly in conflict with both members of other tribes and members within their own tribe. Essentially, after so many years a sort of delicate equilibrium has evolved over their sphere's of control. While their camps still tend to roam, they generally seem to follow a trend. Currently they each control a strip of land ranging from west to east as detailed below, essentially cutting the whole of the Savannah in three layers. The names below I realize may have to be changed. When I read about them as tribes I sort of got a psychopathic variant on native americans sort of feel, lol, with guns thrown in the mix. The first name of the tribe is what they would be generally referred to by outsiders, the name in the paranthesis is what they would refer to themselves as. Each of course over the years has established their own sort of customs and social interactions.
Windwalkers (Chinsonee) Areas of Operation: Savannah - South, Savannah - South East, Savannah - South West The Chinsonee control the southern portions of the Savannah, and are considered by some to be the largest threat from the tribes. Many of their numbers excell in the use of Black Ether, a fact that keeps them in constant struggle with the Holshinaar. While they do use some technology, as a general rule they stick to simple weapons and rely on the power of their Ether users for conflicts.
Greyfurs (Molkenish) Areas of Operation: Savannah - North, Savannah - North East, Savannah - North West The Molkenish use a mixture of technology and ether, not seperating the two like the rest of the tribes in the area. For them Ether is little more then a tool, no more or less spiritual then a well made rifle. Also unique to the tribes, the Molkenish have become quite adept in the creation of copper based goods. Even in the area of mechanical engineering they've made some strides, though they lack the organization and infrastructure of more civillized lands to fully utilize their skills.
Blood Drinkers (Holshinaar) Areas of Operation: Savannah - Central, Savannah - East, Savannah - West The Holshinaar are the better equiped of the Savannah Tribes, which is what has allowed them to maintain a certain amount of control over the heart of the Savannah. Unfortunately for them, the heart of the Savannah also has the highest concentration of predators, both humanoid and otherwise. The Holshinaar are generally equiped with firearms, mostly pistols. They also have a rather suspicious nature regarding the use of Ether, leading them to be extremely hostile towards the Chinsonee. It also makes them wary of the Molkenish, though not to the same degree as for the Chinsonee.

Currently Working on this. Just want to point out Xan, That Zunath has requested each area be 8x8. So in total there will be Nine Areas for 8x8.
With all Nine areas hooked together, the total will be 24x24.
